  • PRINTERS QUEEN (SINGAPORE) 1966. Venue: F&N Hall, River Valley. Date: Oct 1, 1966. Organized by Singapore Printing Employees Union.
  • MISS JAYCEES CLUB 1965. In conjunction with Chinese New Year celebration. Date: February 4, 1965. 15 girls participated. Winner: Sulazinah Abdul Rahman. 1st runner up: Sally Wong, 2nd runners up: Ena Yap.
  • Vasanthy Devadason, 18, who won MISS DEEPAVALI 1964 had told media about she was unable to use her travel package she won as according to her, as a single Indian woman, it’s not good ethically to travel alone. She won a holiday package to India and Hong Kong as part of the prizes.
  • Rosemary Frankland, Miss World 1961 travel together to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Miss Israel/Universe 1960 to promote a film called The Beautiful Jungle at Cathay Cinema. source: Malay Mail, March 27, 1965, page 10.
  • Normah Jalil, 18, was crowned MISS NATIONAL LANGUAGE MONTH QUEEN SINGAPORE 1965 on April 23 at National Theater. Helen Koh, 17, won 1st runner up while Zainah Saini, 18 won 2nd runners up.
  • MISS MODERN MOM SINGAPORE 1965. Venue: Ocean Park Hotel. Date: May 7.
  • MISS SELANGOR/UNIVERSE 1965. Date: May 22. The winner represented the Selangor state to MISS MALAYSIA/UNIVERSE 1965 at Stadium Negara. Winner: Clara De Run. She was also the winner of MISS LEAN YEAR 1964 and MISS JALAN GURNEY OFFICE QUEEN 1964.
  • Ting Yu Hong was chosen to represent Malaysia to the MISS UNIVERSITY AUSTRALIA 1965 beauty contest at Melbourne, which was held on May 21.
  • Alice Voon, 19, won the right to represent Singapore to MISS MALAYSIA/ WORLD 1965 at Stadium Negara on June 12. Her runners up at MISS SINGAPORE/MALAYSIA/WORLD 1965 were Yvonne Wee, 18, and Roop Nannani, 22.
